Direct To Film is a modern apparel decoration method that prints your design onto a special film. We apply adhesive powder, cure it, and heat press the transfer onto your garment. The result is a vibrant, full-color print that bonds to the fabric with excellent stretch and wash performance.
Because the ink is printed to film first, DTF handles fine detail, small text, gradients, and full-color artwork with ease — things that are difficult or impossible with traditional screen printing.

Direct To Film (DTF) printing transfers a full-color design onto a special film, which is then heat pressed onto your garment. It works on virtually any fabric — cotton, polyester, blends, nylon — and handles fine details and photographic images that screen printing cannot achieve. We produce all DTF transfers in house at our Phoenix facility.
No — DTF has no minimum order. You can order a single transfer or a thousand. This makes DTF ideal for samples, small runs, one-off custom pieces, and orders where you need multiple designs without the setup costs of screen printing.
Screen printing is more cost-effective at high volumes (24+ pieces) for simple bold designs. DTF excels at full-color artwork, photos, gradients, and small quantities. DTF also works on more fabric types and requires no per-color setup fees. We often recommend combining both: screen printing for large single-color runs, DTF for complex designs or small quantities.
DTF prints are highly durable when cared for properly. They bond to fabric with strong stretch and crack resistance. Wash inside out in cold water, avoid bleach, tumble dry low or hang dry, and never iron directly on the print. With proper care your DTF prints will stay bright and flexible through hundreds of washes.
Send print-ready files at actual size with a transparent background (PNG preferred). Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF) also work perfectly. For gang sheets, clearly mark cut lines if you need individual transfers separated. If you are unsure how to set up your file, send what you have and our team will help optimize it.
A gang sheet is a large sheet of DTF film printed with multiple designs laid out together to maximize material usage. Other print shops and decorators order gang sheets from us to apply in their own shops. You send us your art laid out at the size you want, and we print, cure, and cut to your specifications.
Yes — gang sheets ordered by noon are shipped same day or available for local pickup at our Phoenix shop at 2011 W Rose Garden Ln. This is one of the fastest turnarounds available in the Phoenix market and why many local shops rely on us to keep their presses moving.
